Following an illness of the past several months, Mrs. Hilda S. Johnson, seventy, widow of Charles Johnson died in the family residence, 520 East 23^rd St., Monday evening.

Her condition did not become serious until a few days ago when she suffered a stroke. She was well known throughout the city.

Her husband died in 1926 and she leaves six sons, Charles O., Walter, Arthur, Albert, Edwin and Harry Johnson; two daughters, Mrs. J. Matters and Mrs A. Bjelke; 17 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. J. Nelson, Jamestown, N.Y. and a brother in Sweden.

Funeral services will be held in the late home Thursday at 2 p.m. the Rev. R. H. Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the family plot, Erie Cemetary.
